Anna Martens and Eric Narioo have a small domain on the North face of Mount Etna, an incredible yet challenging place for making wine. Palmento refers to a 250 year old traditional Etnean building.
The wines are made with minimal intervention, natural yeasts, no additives, no fining or filtering. Little or no SO2 is used.
Mid straw in colour, this wine has attractive white floral aromas coupled with citrus notes of lemon and lime. It is crisp and dry on the palate, with a fresh acidity, balanced by grapefruit flavours and an underlying salty, minerality.
