Honestly? It started with us looking for an excuse to go to Paris. We found one. And somewhere between the wine bars and the very questionable amount of cheese, we fell hard for natural wine.

Turns out we were sick of wine that tasted like it came off a spreadsheet; over-processed over-sulphured stuff made to hit a "flavour profile" instead of actually tasting like where it came from. Good wine good food and good friends is the whole point, and we wanted more people in on that.

So now we go hunting for the opposite. Small independent growers who farm organically or biodynamically ferment with wild yeasts and basically leave the wine alone to do its thing. No shortcuts. No sneaky additives to cover up a rushed harvest. Just fruit time and someone who actually knows their land.

Every bottle we stock earns its spot the same way. We work with producers old and new from all over the world and we taste everything ourselves first. We ask who made it and how and if it doesn't feel honest it's a hard pass.

"Natural" to us means minimal fuss; organic or biodynamic farming native yeasts barely any added sulphites and nothing filtered out that didn't need to go. Basically as close to the original fruit as you can get in a bottle.
