United Cellars of Tekov

A coop project of two winemakers from our “stables”. Marek from Pivnica Čajkov and Ján from Pivnica Brhlovce decided to pool some resources and make use of grapes from a plot of vineyards they own together. Grapes from this plot are sold off to other winemakers, so in 2019, when they sat down to chat about the future of their solo winemaking project, they decided to form this coop and address two issues they were registering. One of them being not big enough production, and being constantly sold out, the other a demand of importers for less expensive wines.
