“Nasciri” means “to be born” in the Calabrian dialect. The name reflects the winery’s belief in life and the energy they see every day in their vineyards. It’s this sense of life and growth that drives them to keep improving and evolving their wines.

This wine is inspired by Domenico’s grandfather, who made simple house wine for the family. “Vinu i’ casa” means “wine of the home” in Calabrian dialect, reflecting a fresh, low-alcohol style made for easy everyday drinking.

The grape Calabrese is better known as Nero d’Avola. Despite the name, the variety is actually native to Sicily rather than Calabria.
