Rufia Orange is a fresh and lively skin-contact wine made from a blend of six local grape varieties. The grapes are fermented together with two weeks of gentle maceration before spending 8–9 months on their lees in stainless steel. Unfiltered and with only a minimal addition of sulphur at bottling, it is bright, crisp and full of tangerine, citrus peel and stone fruit.

Quinta da Boavista is a family estate in the high-altitude Dão, where João and Luísa Tavares de Pina farm organically among forests, wildflowers and native vegetation. The Rufia wines form part of the estate's playful range made from younger vines, showing the bright acidity, perfumed mineral character and distinctive local varieties of the region.
