Rufia Rosado comes from younger vines planted at 550 metres in the granite, shale and clay soils of the Dão. The grapes are hand harvested, directly pressed and naturally fermented in stainless steel before spending 8–9 months on their lees. Unfiltered and made with only a minimal addition of sulphur at bottling, it is a lively, characterful rosé with sour cherry, apricot and herbal notes.

Quinta da Boavista is a family estate in the high-altitude Dão, where João and Luísa Tavares de Pina farm organically among forests, wildflowers and native vegetation. The Rufia wines form part of the estate's playful range made from younger vines, showing the bright acidity, perfumed mineral character and distinctive local varieties of the region.
