This wine's name, Tanca els Ulls, means 'close the eyes' in the local dialect, reflecting the grower's boldness in reviving a small family vineyard in a region with no other wineries. 

From the 'L'Alzina' vineyard, vines aged over 60 years are planted in clay-calcareous soils close to the sea, providing grapes with acidity, freshness, and salinity. Made in the traditional brisat style, the grapes are gently macerated for 7 days and aged for 7 months on fine lees.
